We Learn Through Play

At LEDS, play is how children make sense of the world. Our Reggio-inspired teachers act as co-researchers: they observe closely, listen to children's questions, and set up provocations that invite them to dig deeper. Early literacy, math and science grow out of these child-led projects, and children express what they learn in many ways, through drawing, building, movement, story and more. Teachers document each child's thinking along the way, so families can see learning unfold as children grow in independence, creativity and kindness.
