Little Explorers Discovery School Summer Camps
(Summer 2024)
At Little Explorers, children will engage in a summer camp experience where imagination is encouraged through open- ended loose materials exploration, art creations, STEM activities, creative movement, music, stories and lots of outdoor discovery play!
Teachers will utilize our Reggio-inspired approach to respond to the children's interests and development with provocations and ideas to engage, inspire and extend their curiosities.
Camp Dates for 2024:
We are offering two 4-week sessions for Summer 2024. Single week enrollment will be available for waitlist enrollment and will be offered as vacation weeks become available for students enrolled in full sessions.
Vacation Week Policy: Families signed up for one session may have one prorated vacation week, and families signed up for both sessions may have two prorated vacation weeks. All vacation weeks must be submitted to LEDS no later than April 1, 2024. Approval of vacation weeks after April 1 will be dependent upon new single week inquiries/waitlist availability only.

Children will have a designated water play time each day. School-age children will attend a field trip to the Crozet Pool once per week.
All camp sessions run from 8:15am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Aftercare will be held from 3:00-5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. No aftercare on Fridays.

Rising Adventurers: DOB 10/01/21-09/30/22
Rising Explorers: DOB 10/01/20-09/30/21 (must be potty trained)
Pre-K: DOB 10/01/19-09/30/20
School-Age: Rising K-Rising 5th grade
Please note children will go to the Crozet Pool once/week.
Tuition
Rising Adventurers:
Session Cost (4 weeks): $1,400
Rising Explorers and Trailblazers:
Session Cost (4 weeks): $1,360
School-age (Rising K-5):
Session Cost (4 weeks): $1,320
Aftercare (M-Th, 3:00-5:00):
Session Cost (4 weeks): $280
Registering for Camp
To register for camp, please fill out this form. We will email you within 48 business hours to let you know if your child's spot has been reserved. You will have 48 hours to pay the $200 deposit (or full tuition if requested) to confirm your child's spot.
Please note: The $200 deposit is due upon enrollment. The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total cost of tuition.
All campers must have all registration paperwork completed and tuition for camp fully paid by May 24, 2024. Failure to complete registration paperwork or pay tuition by the deadline will result in releasing the child's spot and a forfeit of the deposit.
Payment Plan Option: A two-payment plan option (due May 24 and June 24) is available for families enrolling in the full summer program. Please indicate your desire for a payment plan on the registration form.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Camp inquiries will be answered in the order received.
All camp enrollments are Monday through Friday. Absences do not result in a refund. We will offer refunds for paid weeks until May 24 (with a forfeit of the deposit). After May 24 , no refunds will be issued.
