Little Explorers Discovery School Summer Camps
(Summer 2026)

At Little Explorers, children will engage in a summer camp experience where imagination is encouraged through open- ended loose materials exploration, art creations, STEM activities, creative movement, music, stories and lots of outdoor discovery play!
​
Teachers will utilize our Reggio-inspired approach to respond to the children's interests and development with provocations and ideas to engage, inspire and extend their curiosities.

Camp Dates for 2026:
We have two enrollment options this summer:
1) Full summer enrollment (8 weeks)
2) Single-week enrollment*
*Rising Adventurers (18 months-2 year old) children who are new to LEDS may only enroll for a minimum of three consecutive weeks. Due to the time it takes to adjust to a new setting at this age, there will be no single week enrollments for this group for new students. Existing LEDS students may enroll for single-week enrollment.​
Camp Weeks/Themes​​​

Friendship Week: June 8-12
We will make new friends, engage in partner games and projects, make friendship bracelets and learn about what it means to be a good friend.
Cultures Around the World: June 15-19
We will explore cultures from all over the world including songs, customs, clothing, language and food. LEDS is open for Juneteenth. We will be holding a Juneteenth celebration at camp on Friday, June 19 and celebrating the African American culture and freedom.

Messy Play Week: June 22-26
We will get messy this week with sensory experiences, messy art and lots of hands-on fun.

Art Week: June 29-July 2*
We will dive into lots of different art mediums this week, including paints, clay, tissue paper, coloring tools, collage and more.
*LEDS will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

Storytelling and Imaginative Play Week: July 6-10
We will use all sorts of different materials, props and most importantly, our imaginations to explore the world of creating stories and drama. Children of all ages will enjoy creating scripts, scenes and letting their play take them in unplanned directions.

Nature Week: July 13-17
We will learn survival skills, set up a camp and explore with nature loose parts, nature art and creating food in nature.
​
Makerspace and STEM Week: July 20-24
We will build, make, create and experiment this week using different resources and materials.
Color Your World: July 27-31*
We will dive into all things color this week with tie-dye, rainbows, color experiments, colorful art and more.
**Camp will conclude at 12:00pm on Friday, July 31 with our end of summer celebration. Families are welcome to attend from 10am-12pm.
Children will have a designated water play time each day.
School-age children will attend scheduled field trips throughout the summer (Dates TBD)
All camp sessions run from 8:15am-2:45pm, Monday through Friday.
Aftercare will be held from 2:45-5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. No aftercare on Fridays.
Age Groups
Rising Adventurers: DOB 10/01/23-09/30/24
Rising Explorers: DOB 10/01/22-09/30/23 (must be potty trained)
Pre-K: DOB 10/01/21-09/30/22
School-Age: Rising K*-Rising 5th grade
(North location only)
*Location for the Rising K group is pending enrollment size and will be determined by mid-February.
Please note school-age children will attend scheduled field trips throughout the summer.
Tuition
Please note, for children 2 years and under! If you are new to LEDS, you must enroll for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks only.
Full Summer Tuition (8 weeks): $2,960
Single Week Tuition: $375
*School-age tuition includes all scheduled field trips.
Aftercare (M-Th, 2:45-5:00):
Single-week enrollment: $75
